Last night, the Colorado Avalanche/Quebec Nordiques franchise achieved 1,000 wins. They were the sixth fastest franchise to do so. Today the Colorado Avalanche beat up on the visiting San Jose Sharks, 6-2. Sophomore Paul Stastny played great with one goal and four assists.
